NASFAT FAMILY TRAGEDY: IN SYMPATHY AND SOLIDARITY
The Muslim Congress (TMC) is deeply saddened by the tragic loss of a family, members of the Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT), in a devastating fire that engulfed their home in Ede, Osun State. This heartbreaking incident has left the Muslim community in mourning, and we extend our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and the entire membership of the NasrulLahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT).
The fire, a poignant reminder of life’s transient nature, has ignited a profound sense of grief and sorrow within our hearts. We offer our prayers for the departed souls, seeking Allah’s mercy and eternal peace for them, as He (SWT) says in the Glorious Quran, “And say, “Our Lord, do not punish us if we forget or make a mistake. Our Lord, do not place upon us a burden like You placed upon those before us. Our Lord, do not burden us with what we have no strength to bear.
And pardon us, and forgive us, and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people.” (Quran 2:286).
We also pray for strength and solace for the surviving family members, particularly the 13-yearold son who miraculously escaped the inferno. In this moment of profound loss, we call upon the entire Muslim community to unite in prayer. Let us seek divine protection and guidance, and pray for the comfort and resilience of those affected by this tragedy. As the Prophet (PBUH) said, “The believers are merciful and compassionate amongst themselves.”
The Muslim Congress stands in solidarity with the bereaved family and the entire NASFAT community, offering moral support and heartfelt compassion during this difficult time. We will continue to pray for their healing and recovery, and for Allah’s grace to guide them through this period of immense grief.
May Allah grant the departed eternal peace, and may He (SWT) grant the bereaved family strength and solace in this time of need.
Signed,
Alhaji AbdulWasi’I Taiwo Bangbala,
Amir, The Muslim Congress
