ISLAM TRUE VISION (REVELATION) AND A BRIGHT TOMORROW

ISLAM TRUE VISION (REVELATION) AND A BRIGHT TOMORROW

IN THE NAME OF ALLAH, THE BENEFICENT, THE MERCIFUL

BEING THE THIRD SERMON FOR THE MONTH OF JUMAADA AL-AKHIRAH,

DATED: 16TH JUMAADAL AL-AKHIRAH, 1445AH (29TH DEC., 2023CE)

TITLED: ISLAM: TRUE VISION (REVELATION) AND A BRIGHT TOMORROW

THE FIRST SERMON

All Praises belong to Allah who choose Islam for us as religion and made us the best ummah ever brought forth for mankind. He commanded us to adhere to this religion and to remain steadfast in it until death. I bear witness that there is no god worthy of worship except Allah alone. He has no partner, exalted far above having any being like Him.  I bear witness also that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger, he’s made to guide people away from misguidance, and to take people away from ignorance with knowledge. O Allah! Bless and grant peace to your servant and Messenger Muhammad and to his family and his exemplary, forerunning companions from among the Muhajireen and the Ansaar, and those who followed them in good deeds.

Thereafter…

O Muslims! Fear Allah Almighty and adhere to the guidance of your chosen Prophet and obey his commands and avoid his prohibitions, and know that the good ending is for the righteous. (اسْتَعِينُوا بِاللَّهِ وَاصْبِرُوا إِنَّ الْأَرْضَ لِلَّهِ يُورِثُهَا مَنْ يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ وَالْعَاقِبَةُ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ) “Seek help from Allah and be patient. Indeed, the earth belongs to Allah. He bequeaths it to whomsoever He wishes of His servants, and the good ending is for the righteous.” (Al-A’araf: 128).

O ummah of Islam! We live in this time in which temptations have become widespread, and everything have become mixed up, and Muslims have become lowly, lacking, and the oppressed weaklings in the east and west of the earth. In order that the despair does not get to the people that are still sincere. and so that they do not despair of the Spirit of Allah, and so that the Muslim feels the Light of Allah and hope in Allah Ta’alaa, and just so that the feeling is complete among Muslims that Allah’s victory is coming, the topic of our sermon today will be focused on “Islam: True vision (revelation) and a bright tomorrow.”

Dear brothers! Islam is the religion that Allah Ta’alaa is pleased with for His servants, and it is the greatest of blessings, the most complete and the highest of them. Allah Almighty says: (الْيَوْمَ أَكْمَلْتُ لَكُمْ دِينَكُمْ وَأَتْمَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ نِعْمَتِي وَرَضِيتُ لَكُمُ الْإِسْلَامَ دِينًا) “Today I have perfected for you your religion and completed My blessing upon you and have approved for you Islam as your religion” (Al-Maa’idah: 3). And indeed, Allah Almighty does not accept any religion other than it. The Almighty said: (إِنَّ الدِّينَ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ الْإِسْلَامُ) “Indeed, the religion with Allah is Islam” (Aal Imraan: 19). And His saying: (وَمَنْ يَبْتَغِ غَيْرَ الْإِسْلَامِ دِينًا فَلَنْ يُقْبَلَ مِنْهُ وَهُوَ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ) “And whoever desires a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted from him, and in the Hereafter he will be among the losers” (Aal Imraan: 85). True life and eternal happiness are not achieved unless we adhere to this religion, (مَنْ عَمِلَ صَالِحًا مِنْ ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنْثَى وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَلَنُحْيِيَنَّهُ حَيَاةً طَيِّبَةً وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْرَهُمْ بِأَحْسَنِ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ) “Whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, and is a believer – We will surely give him a good life and give them their reward with the best of what they used to do” (An-Nahl: 97).

O Muslims, know, may Allah Almighty have mercy on you, that Islam is the only cure for the deadly diseases that afflict human society, and a solution like no other to the problems facing people today. Humanity – before Islam – was in complete darkness and blind ignorance. , violation of sanctities, injustice and hostilities, immoral acts and atrocities, oppression of the weak, and killing and persecution of the innocent, and Islam came as a savior and a purifier, a guide and a cleanser, and it came to bring people out of the worship of the servants to the worship of the Lord of the servants, and to bring them out from darkness to light, from injustice to justice, from the swamps of ignorance to the good morals and the light of the Divine Sharee’ah.

Dear servants of Allah! Just as the Islamic approach to change created the greatest changes in the world in which it emerged, catapulting the Arabs from the bottom of the world to its leadership, pioneer status, and leading lights, this approach is capable today of bringing about the same change in our the world today and even later generations until the end of time. (وَيَوْمَئِذٍ يَفْرَحُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ * بِنَصْرِ اللَّهِ يَنْصُرُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ) “..and on that day the believer will rejoice. With the help of Allah, He helps whom He wills, and He is the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. (Ar-Ruum: 4-5). This is the good news of divine victory for those who help Allah by establishing His religion. Allah Almighty says: (وَلَيَنْصُرَنَّ اللَّهُ مَنْ يَنْصُرُهُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَقَوِيٌّ عَزِيزٌ) “And Allah will surely help whoever helps Him. Indeed, Allah is Powerful, Mighty.” (Al-Hajj: 40).

O Muslims! The Messenger of Allah – may Allah bless him and grant him peace – has given us good tidings that victory for this religion is coming, that change for the better will be achieved, that the true future of Islam, and that the eras of oppression and tyranny that are overwhelming the Islamic ummah now will disappear, and the alternative will be a caliphate on the approach of the prophet. This applies not only to the Arab or Islamic region, but will include the entire world. On the authority of Tameem Al-Daari, may Allah be pleased with him, he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah’s blessings and peace be upon him, saying: “This matter (Islam) will definitely keep spreading as far as the night and day reach, until Allah will not leave a house made of mud or hair, but will make this religion enter it, while bringing might to a mighty person (a Muslim) and humiliation to a disgraced person (who rejects Islam). Might with which Allah elevates Islam (and its people) and disgrace with which Allah humiliates disbelief (and its people.)”  (Ahmad in his Musnad, and Al-Bayhaqi in Al-Sunan Al-Kubra). And it is narrated on the authority of Hudhayfah ibn Yaman – may Alah be pleased with him – he said: The Messenger of Allah – may Allah bless him and grant him peace – said: “Prophethood shall remain among you as long as God wills. He will bring about its end and follow it with Khilafat on the precepts of Prophethood for as long as He wills and then bring about its end. Kingship shall then follow, to remain as long as God wills and then come to an end. There shall then be monarchical despotism which shall remain as long as God wills and come to an end upon His decree. There will then emerge Khilafat on the precepts of Prophethood’. Then he became silent” (Ahmad).

O Muslims! A questioner may ask: How can this be? We see and witness our Islamic ummah in humiliation and debasement. Wounds fill the body of the ummah, and weakness and incapacity have befallen it. Muslims are no longer the affair at the heart (ie the responsibility) of one man, but rather their faces (representations) have become various and varying, and their enemies have attacked them from everywhere. What makes the matter more complicated is that the material and technological superiority achieved by our enemies making it difficult for us to catch up with them, and they will not allow us to get close to them.

So, we say to such questioner: Yes, but these are only the reckonings of the people of the earth. As for the reckoning of the people of sound and deep faith, they tell us that there is a great power that no human mind can imagine its extent, and when this power supports the weak, he becomes strong. If it supports the humiliated, he becomes glorious, and if it supports the defeated, he becomes victorious. Victory is his ally, no matter how strong his enemies are. It is the only power. This is the power of the All-Conquering, the Most Powerful, the Dominant, the Overcomer, the All-Powerful, the Almighty, Glory be to Him, to whom belongs the hosts of the heavens and the earth. He controls the winds, the storms, the thunder, the lightning, the earthquakes, the volcanoes, and other things. (وَمَا يَعْلَمُ جُنُودَ رَبِّكَ إِلَّا هُوَ) And none can know the hosts of your Lord but He.” (Al-Muddaththir: 31). (كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَأَغْلِبَنَّ أَنَا وَرُسُلِي إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَوِيٌّ عَزِيزٌ)Allah has decreed: “Verily! It is I and My Messengers who shall be the victorious.” Verily, Allah is All-Powerful, All-Mighty. (Al-Mujaddilah: 21). It is He, too, Who controls the breath of our enemies, and casts terror and fear into their hearts. And this power of Allah Almighty is our only hope in confronting our fierce enemies and restoring our glory and leadership to humanity once again. It is the power of the One Who said in his book: (يَاأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنْ تَنْصُرُوا اللَّهَ يَنْصُرْكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَكُمْ) “O you who have believed, if you support Allāh, He will support you and plant firmly your feet.” (Surat Muhammad: 7) (وَلَا تَهِنُوا وَلَا تَحْزَنُوا وَأَنْتُمُ الْأَعْلَوْنَ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ) “Do not become weak and do not be sad, for you will prevail. If you are believers” (Aal Imraan: 139). Allah has promised those among you who believe, and do righteous good deeds, that He will certainly grant them succession to (the present rulers) in the earth, as He granted it to those before them, and that He will grant them the authority to practice their religion, that which He has chosen for them (i.e. Islam). And He will surely give them in exchange a safe security after their fear (provided) they (believers) worship Me and do not associate anything (in worship) with Me. But whoever disbelieved after this, they are the Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah). (An-Nuur: 55).

May Allah bless you and me with the Glorious Qur’an, and benefit us with the verses and wise remembrance it contains. I say all this, and I ask Allah for forgiveness for me and for you and for all other Muslims for every sin, so seek His forgiveness. Indeed, He is the Oft-Forgiving, the Most-Merciful.

THE SECOND SERMON

All praises are due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. Surely the end is for the righteous, and there is no aggression except against the wrongdoers. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that our master Muhammad is His servant and Messenger, may Allah bless him, his family and companions.

As for what follows,

Fear Allah Almighty, O Muslims, as you should fear Him, and do not die unless you are Muslims.

O Muslims, the series of Zionist aggression against our brothers in Gaza continues. These Jews do not hesitate to kill children, women, young and old, destroy homes and hospitals, and commit war massacres, a war of extermination, and crimes against humanity.

Dear fellow believers, our duty before Allah the Exalted, and before what the Muslims are exposed to in Palestine and the Gaza Strip, requires us to carry out our duty and responsibilities so that we do not lose on the Day of Resurrection and the Day of Judgment, when Allah, the Exalted asks us about what we have done regarding the great injustice that befalls our Muslim brothers in Palestine. (وَإِنِ اسْتَنْصَرُوكُمْ فِي الدِّينِ فَعَلَيْكُمُ النَّصْرُ) “And if they seek help of you for the religion, then you must help” (Surah Al-Anfal: 72)

In the face of this, our duty – O servants of Allah – is to pray for them, to stand in solidarity with them, to stand by their side by supporting them financially, and to participate in exposing their stolen rights, exposing the injustice that has been done to them, and rejecting sidelining the Palestinian issue, and not supporting the infidels. It is also our duty In the face of the oppression of the Palestinians and in the face of the crimes of America and Israel: boycotting American and Israeli goods and other goods from countries that have declared their support for the Jews.
