SOME CHARACTERISTICS OF THE JEWS IN THE QUR’AN AND THE SUNNAH

SOME CHARACTERISTICS OF THE JEWS IN THE QUR’AN AND THE SUNNAH

IN THE NAME OF ALLAH, THE BENEFICENT, THE MERCIFUL

BEING THE THIRD SERMON FOR THE MONTH OF R/THAANI,

DATED: 19TH R. THAANI, 1445AH (3RD NOV., 2023CE)

TITLED: SOME CHARACTERISTICS OF THE JEWS IN THE QUR’AN AND THE SUNNAH

THE FIRST SERMON

Al Praises belong to Allah Who sent down the Criterion to His servant so that he might be a warner to the whole universe. He says in His Noble Book: (وَنَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ تِبْيَاناً لِّكُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةً وَبُشْرَى لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ) “And We have sent down to you the Book as an explanation of all things and a guidance and mercy and good tidings for the Muslims” (An-Nahl: 89). We praise Him, the Almighty, we thank Him, we believe in Him, and we put our trust in Him. We seek refuge in Him from the evils of souls and from the evil of our bad deeds. I bear witness that there is no god worthy of worship except Allah alone. He has no partner. All His slaves are humbled before Him and He has no difficulties. I bear witness that our Prophet Muhammad, the servant of Allah and His Messenger, is the best of those who call to his Lord and the best of those who responded. He followed the path of truth and achieved success. May the prayers and peace of Allahbe upon him and all his family and companions, (أُوْلَئِكَ الَّذِينَ هَدَاهُمُ اللَّهُ وَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمْ أُوْلُوا الأَلْبَابِ) “…those are the ones whom Allah has guided, and those are the people of understanding” (Az-Zumar: 18), and whoever follows them with goodness and faith until the Day of Return…

Thereafter…

Servants of Allah! I advise you and myself to fear Allah Ta’alaa, outwardly and inwardly, in accordance with His Words, the Most High: (…وَاتَّقُونِ يَاأُولِي الْأَلْبَابِ) “…And fear Me, O you of understanding” (Al-Baqarah: 197).

Dear brothers in Faith! This is the third meeting in the month of Rabiu’-Thaani, and we are on the issue of Al-Quds (Jerusalem), which is the issue of every Muslim. Last week, we detailed the conversation about Jerusalem being Arabic and its being Islamic, as we explained the status of Jerusalem in the creed of Muslims. This is necessary following the making of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel by the Jews, which was recognized by the American state and other Israel’s lackeys. The topic of our sermon today focuses on the characteristics of the Jews in the Qur’aan and Sunnah:

Some of the characteristics of the Jews in the Qur’aan and Sunnah

O honorable Muslims! It is known to people that the Jews are the worst of Allah’s creations. They are the worst of those who have ever stepped on the earth because they are the killers of the prophets, the fabricators of lies about Allah, the cowardly traitors, the covenants breakers, and on top of that they tried to kill the Chosen Prophet – may the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him and his family and companions, several times, but Allah – Blessed and Most High – saved him and preserved him.

Anyone who follows history realizes their treachery, foolishness, and the intensity of their hostility towards Muslims, and whoever looks at the crimes they committed against our brothers in the land of Gaza in our present era would know this. They demolished homes, killed women and children, shed blood, attacked with internationally prohibited weapons. They destroyed electricity, property, and hospitals – and there is no help. There is no power except in Allah, the Most High, the Great. He is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs. Below we will put together the ones that we are able to, of their characteristics mentioned in the Qur’aan and Sunnah. We ask Alla Ta’alaa for success and goodness.

  1. They are the people most hostile to those who believe: Allah- Blessed and Most High – said: (لَتَجِدَنَّ أَشَدَّ النَّاسِ عَدَاوَةً لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ الْيَهُودَ وَالَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُواْ وَلَتَجِدَنَّ أَقْرَبَهُمْ مَّوَدَّةً لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ الَّذِينَ قَالُوَاْ إِنَّا نَصَارَى ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّ مِنْهُمْ قِسِّيسِينَ وَرُهْبَاناً وَأَنَّهُمْ لاَ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ) “Verily, you will find the strongest among men in enmity to the believers (Muslims) the Jews and those who are Al-Mushrikun (see V. 2:105), and you will find the nearest in love to the believers (Muslims) those who say: “We are Christians.” That is because amongst them are priests and monks, and they are not proud.’’ (Al-Maa’idah: 82).
  2. Imam al-Tabari – may Alla Ta’alaa have mercy on him – said it means: “You will find, O Muhammad, the people most hostile to those who believed you and followed you and believed what you brought to them from the people of Islaam, to be the Jews and those who are polytheist” (Tafsir al-Tabari (10/498)), and Al-Haafiz Ibn Katheer said – may Allahhave mercy on him,- in the interpretation of the verse: “This is only because the disbelief of the Jews is stubbornness and ungratefulness, and they boast about the Truth, and look down upon people, and belittle those who bear knowledge. That is why they killed many of the prophets, until they attempted to kill the Messenger of Allah – may Allah bless him and grant him peace – more than once, and they bewitched him and incited their likes, among the polytheists against him – upon them is the curse of Allah that will continue until the Day of Resurrection.” (Tafsir Ibn Katheer (3/166)). And Al-Raazi – may Allah have mercy on him – said: “Know that – the Almighty – when he mentioned about the conditions of the People of the Book of the Jews and Christians, what He mentioned. He mentioned in this verse that the Jews are extremely hostile to the Muslims, and that is why He made them equal to the polytheists in terms of their extreme hostility. Rather, He pointed out that they are more hostile than the polytheists on the basis that He mentioned them before mentioning the polytheists, and they are like that!” (Tafsir al-Razi (6/133)). And Al-Khaazen – may Allah have mercy on him – in his interpretation: “The letter ‘Laam’ in his saying, ‘You will find..”, is the ‘laam of oath’ meaning “By Allah! O Muhammad, you will find the people most hostile to those who believed in you and believed you, to be the Jews and those who are polytheist”, and Allah described the severity of the hostility of the Jews and the harshness of their response to the Truth, and He equate them to the polytheists, worshipers of idols, in enmity to the believers, and that was out of envy on their part for the believers.” (Tafsir al-Khaazin (2/320)).

Ibn Sa’adi – may Allah have mercy on him – said: “These two groups are based mentioned absolutely as  the people that are the most hostile to Islaam and Muslims, and the most striving to cause harm to them, due to their intense hatred for them, out of envy, stubbornness, and disbelief” (Tafsir Al-Sa’adi (1/241)).

  • Part of the intensity of hostility is that they know the truth but do not follow it. They know that the Prophet – may Allah bless him and grant him peace – is the Truth, and that the message is from Allah. But they did not follow him, and when the Prophet – may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him – emigrated and arrived in Madeenah, the Jews looked at him and recognized him, and they were hostile to him, as narrated by the Mother of the Believers, Safiyyah bint Huyyay ibn Akhtab, the wife of our Prophet – may Allah bless him and grant him peace – for she mentioned that Huyyy ibn Akhtab was one of the leaders of the Jews, when the Prophet – peace and blessings be upon him – came to Madeenah. He saw him and knew that he was a prophet from what he had read about him in the Taurah. Safiyya – may Allah be pleased with her – says: “Her father and her uncle met after they saw the Prophet – peace and blessings be upon him -, and her uncle said to her father: Is it him? He said: Yes, I know him by his face – or by his character. He said: What is in your heart for him? He said: Enmity towards him as long as I live. This is the confirmation of the word of Allah, the Exalted: (فَلَمَّا جَاءهُم مَّا عَرَفُواْ كَفَرُواْ بِهِ)but [then] when there came to them that which they recognized, they disbelieved in it” (Surah Al-Baqarah: 89) Allah’s saying – Blessed and Most High: (الَّذِينَ آتَيْنَاهُمُ الْكِتَابَ يَعْرِفُونَهُ كَمَا يَعْرِفُونَ أَبْنَاءهُمْ) “Those to whom We have given the Book know it as they know their own children” (Al-An’am: 20). And it is mentioned in the Holy Qur’aan that Because of the severity of their hostility towards the believers: () They (the disbelievers, the Jews and the Christians) want to extinguish Allah’s Light (with which Muhammad SAW has been sent – Islamic Monotheism) with their mouths, but Allah will not allow except that His Light should be perfected even though the Kafirun (disbelievers) hate (it).(At-Taubah: 32). And: They want to extinguish the light of Allāh with their mouths, but Allāh will perfect His light, although the disbelievers dislike it.” (As-Soff: 8).

C – Their stubbornness and obstinacy, and their many questions and interrogations: One of their ugly characteristics is that they are obstinate and ask a lot of questions and inquiries and interrogations. Examples of this is what Allah- Blessed and Most High – mentioned in the Qur’aan about what happened between Moses – peace be upon him – and his people when he commanded them to slaughter a cow, and they said, “Do you take us as a mockery? Then they said: What is it, what colour is it? They said, “Do you take us in ridicule?” He said, “I seek refuge in Allāh from being among the ignorant. (68) They said, “Call upon your Lord to make clear to us what it is.” [Moses] said, “[Allāh] says, ‘It is a cow which is neither old nor virgin, but median between that,’ so do what you are commanded. (69) They said, “Call upon your Lord to show us what is her color.” He said, “He says, ‘It is a yellow cow, bright in color – pleasing to the observers. (70) They said, “Call upon your Lord to make clear to us what it is. Indeed, [all] cows look alike to us. And indeed we, if Allāh wills, will be guided. (71) He said, “He says, ‘It is a cow neither trained to plow the earth nor to irrigate the field, one free from fault with no spot upon her.'” They said, “Now you have come with the truth.” So they slaughtered her, but they could hardly do it. (Al-Baqarah: 67-71). And they said to Musa – peace be upon him -: “And they said, ‘We will not believe in you until you gush forth for us from the earth a spring.’” (Al-Israa: 90), out of obstinacy and stubbornness.

And they said to him, as Allah- Blessed and Most High – informed us about that: (وَإِذْ قُلْتُمْ يَا مُوسَى لَن نَّصْبِرَ عَلَىَ طَعَامٍ وَاحِدٍ فَادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ يُخْرِجْ لَنَا مِمَّا تُنبِتُ الأَرْضُ مِن بَقْلِهَا وَقِثَّآئِهَا وَفُومِهَا وَعَدَسِهَا وَبَصَلِهَا قَالَ أَتَسْتَبْدِلُونَ الَّذِي هُوَ أَدْنَى بِالَّذِي هُوَ خَيْرٌ اهْبِطُواْ مِصْراً فَإِنَّ لَكُم مَّا سَأَلْتُمْ وَضُرِبَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الذِّلَّةُ وَالْمَسْكَنَةُ وَبَآؤُوْاْ بِغَضَبٍ مِّنَ اللَّهِ ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَانُواْ يَكْفُرُونَ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَيَقْتُلُونَ النَّبِيِّينَ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ ذَلِكَ بِمَا عَصَواْ وَّكَانُواْ يَعْتَدُونَ) “And [recall] when you said, “O Moses, we can never endure one [kind of] food. So call upon your Lord to bring forth for us from the earth its green herbs and its cucumbers and its garlic and its lentils and its onions.” [Moses] said, “Would you exchange what is better for what is less? Go into [any] settlement and indeed, you will have what you have asked.” And they were covered with humiliation and poverty and returned with anger from Allāh [upon them]. That was because they [repeatedly] disbelieved in the signs of Allāh and killed the prophets without right. That was because they disobeyed and were [habitually] transgressing..” (Al-Baqarah: 61).

D- Their distortion of the Book (of Allah): Among their characteristics is that they distorted the word of Allah – the Almighty – which was revealed to them, they changed and altered it until Allah – the Blessed and Most High – spoke about them to the believers: (أَفَتَطْمَعُونَ أَن يُؤْمِنُواْ لَكُمْ وَقَدْ كَانَ فَرِيقٌ مِّنْهُمْ يَسْمَعُونَ كَلاَمَ اللّهِ ثُمَّ يُحَرِّفُونَهُ مِن بَعْدِ مَا عَقَلُوهُ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ) Do you covet [the hope, O believers], that they would believe for you while a party of them used to hear the words of Allāh and then distort it [i.e., the Torah] after they had understood it while they were knowing? [Surat Al-Baqarah: 75], and he said: (مِّنَ الَّذِينَ هَادُواْ يُحَرِّفُونَ الْكَلِمَ عَن مَّوَاضِعِهِ وَيَقُولُونَ سَمِعْنَا وَعَصَيْنَا وَاسْمَعْ غَيْرَ مُسْمَعٍ وَرَاعِنَا لَيّاً بِأَلْسِنَتِهِمْ وَطَعْناً فِي الدِّينِ وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ قَالُواْ سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا وَاسْمَعْ وَانظُرْنَا لَكَانَ خَيْراً لَّهُمْ وَأَقْوَمَ وَلَكِن لَّعَنَهُمُ اللّهُ بِكُفْرِهِمْ فَلاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ إِلاَّ قَلِيلاً) “Among the Jews are those who distort words from their [proper] places [i.e., usages] and say, “We hear and disobey” and “Hear but be not heard” and “Rāʿinā,”[190] twisting their tongues and defaming the religion. And if they had said [instead], “We hear and obey” and “Wait for us [to understand],” it would have been better for them and more suitable. But Allāh has cursed them for their disbelief, so they believe not, except for a few.” [Surat An-Nisa: 46], and Allah – Blessed and Most High – says: (يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لاَ تَقُولُواْ رَاعِنَا وَقُولُواْ انظُرْنَا وَاسْمَعُوا ْوَلِلكَافِرِينَ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ) “O you who have believed, say not [to Allāh’s Messenger], “Rāʿinā” but say, “Unẓurnā”[35] and listen. And for the disbelievers is a painful punishment.’” [Surat Al-Baqarah: 2\104], and Allah – Blessed and Most High – says to them 🙂 And when We said: (وَإِذْ قُلْنَا ادْخُلُواْ هَذِهِ الْقَرْيَةَ فَكُلُواْ مِنْهَا حَيْثُ شِئْتُمْ رَغَداً وَادْخُلُواْ الْبَابَ سُجَّداً وَقُولُواْ حِطَّةٌ نَّغْفِرْ لَكُمْ خَطَايَاكُمْ وَسَنَزِيدُ الْمُحْسِنِينَ) “And [recall] when We said, “Enter this city [i.e., Jerusalem] and eat from it wherever you will in [ease and] abundance, and enter the gate bowing humbly[28] and say, ‘Relieve us of our burdens [i.e., sins].’ We will [then] forgive your sins for you, and We will increase the doers of good [in goodness and reward]..” [Surat Al-Baqarah: 58] They said: Wheat.

E- Their cowardice and love and eagerness for life: The Jews are among the most cowardly ever of Allah’s creation – Blessed and Most High. Thus, whoever traces the human history will knows the truth about them, as they were holed up in impregnable fortresses out of fear of Muslims, and anyone who follows their conflict with our brothers in Palestine at the moment will notice how much they fear the Palestinian Mujahideen, on the other hand, they take pride in fighting innocent citizens, and Allah – Blessed and Most High – says about their situation: (وَإِذْ قُلْنَا ادْخُلُواْ هَذِهِ الْقَرْيَةَ فَكُلُواْ مِنْهَا حَيْثُ شِئْتُمْ رَغَداً وَادْخُلُواْ الْبَابَ سُجَّداً وَقُولُواْ حِطَّةٌ نَّغْفِرْ لَكُمْ خَطَايَاكُمْ وَسَنَزِيدُ الْمُحْسِنِينَ) They will not fight you all except within fortified cities or from behind walls. Their violence [i.e., enmity] among themselves is severe. You think they are together, but their hearts are diverse. That is because they are a people who do not reason. (Surat Al-Hashr: 14]. Ibn Jarir Al-Tabari – may Allah have mercy on him – narrated with his chain of transmission on the authority of Qatada, who said: “You will find the people of falsehood having different testimonies, different desires, and different deeds, and they are united in hostility to the people of truth” (Tafsir Al-Tabari (23/292); And Tafsir Al-Baghawi (8/81)). Al-Hafiz Ibn Katheer – may Allah have mercy on him – said: “That is, you see them gathered together and think they are united, but they are very different”(Tafsir Al-Tabari (23/292); Tafsir Al-Baghawi (8/81)); Allah – Blessed and Most High – says about them: (قَالُوا يَا مُوسَى إِنَّ فِيهَا قَوْماً جَبَّارِينَ وَإِنَّا لَن نَّدْخُلَهَا حَتَّىَ يَخْرُجُواْ مِنْهَا فَإِن يَخْرُجُواْ مِنْهَا فَإِنَّا دَاخِلُونَ * قَالَ رَجُلاَنِ مِنَ الَّذِينَ يَخَافُونَ أَنْعَمَ اللّهُ عَلَيْهِمَا ادْخُلُواْ عَلَيْهِمُ الْبَابَ فَإِذَا دَخَلْتُمُوهُ فَإِنَّكُمْ غَالِبُونَ وَعَلَى اللّهِ فَتَوَكَّلُواْ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ * قَالُواْ يَا مُوسَى إِنَّا لَن نَّدْخُلَهَا أَبَداً مَّا دَامُواْ فِيهَا فَاذْهَبْ أَنتَ وَرَبُّكَ فَقَاتِلا إِنَّا هَاهُنَا قَاعِدُونَ) They said, “O Moses, indeed within it is a people of tyrannical strength, and indeed, we will never enter it until they leave it; but if they leave it, then we will enter. (23) Said two men from those who feared [to disobey] upon whom Allāh had bestowed favor, “Enter upon them through the gate, for when you have entered it, you will be predominant.[254] And upon Allāh rely, if you should be believers. (24) They said, “O Moses, indeed we will not enter it, ever, as long as they are within it; so go, you and your Lord, and fight. Indeed, we are remaining right here.[Surat Al-Ma’idah: 22-24] Abu Ja’far Muhammad bin Jarir Al-Tabari said – may Allah have mercy on him: “This is an information from Allah – glory be to Him – based on the statement of the leaders among the people of Moses  to Moses when they were charged to do jihad against their enemy, and were promised that Allah would grant them victory if they stood up against them and entered upon them from the gate of the city; they said to him: “We will never enter it,” meaning: “We will never enter their city” [Tafsir al-Tabari (10/184) ];

Sheikh Al-Saadi – may Allah have mercy on him – said: “How heinous are these words of theirs, and their confrontation to their Prophet at this critical and narrow situation in which the need and necessity call for supporting their Prophet and honoring themselves” (Tafsir Al-Saadi (1/228)), and Allah – Glory be to Him – says, narrating their situation, and their love for life, and fear of death: And you will surely find them the most greedy of people for life – [even] more than those who associate others with Allāh. One of them wishes that he could be granted life a thousand years, but it would not remove him in the least from the [coming] punishment that he should be granted life. And Allāh is Seeing of what they do.. (Surat Al-Baqarah: 96)

We shall stop here due to the limited space, and by Allah’s will – the Almighty – we shall continue in next sermon.

I say this and I ask forgiveness from Allah, the Almighty for me and for you. So seek His forgiveness and repent unto Him. Indeed, He is the Forgiving, the Merciful.

THE SECOND SERMON:

All praises are due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds, who says in His great decisive criterion: (وَلَنْ تَرْضَى عَنْكَ الْيَهُودُ وَلَا النَّصَارَى حَتَّى تَتَّبِعَ مِلَّتَهُمْ قُلْ إِنَّ هُدَى اللَّهِ هُوَ الْهُدَى وَلَئِنِ اتَّبَعْتَ أَهْوَاءَهُمْ بَعْدَ الَّذِي جَاءَكَ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ مَا لَكَ مِنَ اللَّهِ مِنْ وَلِيٍّ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ) “And never will the Jews and the Christians approve of you until you follow their religion. Say, “Indeed, the guidance of Allāh is the [only] guidance.” If you were to follow their desires after what has come to you of knowledge, you would have against Allāh no protector or helper” [Al-Baqarah: 120]. ] We praise Him, Glory be to Him, the Most High, and we thank Him, and we believe in Him. We place our trust in Him, and pray and send salutation upon the best of Allah’s creation, our Master Muhammad. May the peace and blessings be upon his family, his companions and those who follow them in righteousness until the Day of Recompense.

Al-Walaa’ and Al-Baraa’ (loyalty and disavowal):

Dear Servants of Allah, one of the characteristics of the Muslim society is that it is a society based on the doctrine of Al-Walaa’ and Al-Baraa’ (loyalty and disavowal), loyalty to Allah, His Messenger, and the believers, and disavowal towards everyone who strays from Allah, and His Messenger and follows other than the path of the believers.

These two characteristics of the Muslim community are among the most important links that make that community a cohesive and integrated community, dominated by bonds of love and support, and protect it from disintegration and assimilation into other identities and societies. Rather, they make it a single unit that seeks to achieve the message of Islam on earth, that message that is based on enjoining good, forbidding evil, and calling people to the truth and a straight path.

The importance of the doctrine of loyalty and disavowal: The importance of this authentic Islamic doctrine stems from it being a divine obligation, and for it being a protection fence for the nation’s cultural and political identity. The importance of this doctrine has no clearer evidence than the Qur’an’s attention to its determination. Once, it mentions it as a bond of faith that unites believers and urges them to perform righteous deeds. Allah, the Almighty says: (والمؤمنون والمؤمنات بعضهم أولياء بعض يأمرون بالمعروف وينهون عن المنكر ويقيمون الصلاة ويؤتون الزكاة ويطيعون الله ورسوله أولئك سيرحمهم الله إن الله عزيز حكيم) “The believing men and believing women are allies of one another. They enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and establish prayer and give zakāh and obey Allāh and His Messenger. Those – Allāh will have mercy upon them. Indeed, Allāh is Exalted in Might and Wise” (At-Tawbah: 71), and at another time, He mentions it, warning against being drawn into alliances that place the Muslim side by side with the unbeliever in his hostility to his Muslim brothers. Allah, the Almighty says: (لا يتخذ المؤمنون الكافرين أولياء من دون المؤمنين ومن يفعل ذلك فليس من الله في شيء إلا أن تتقوا منهم تقاة ويحذركم الله نفسه وإلى الله المصير) “Let not believers take disbelievers as allies [i.e., supporters or protectors] rather than believers. And whoever [of you] does that has nothing [i.e., no association] with Allāh, except when taking precaution against them in prudence.[122] And Allāh warns you of Himself, and to Allāh is the [final] destination” { (Al Imran: 28), and once, He mentions the creed of Loyalty and disavowal as the characteristics that particularize the believers, and they cannot be characterized by anything that contradicts it. Allah, the Almighty says: (لا تجد قوما يؤمنون بالله واليوم الآخر يوادّون من حاد الله ورسوله ولو كانوا آباءهم أو أبناءهم أو إخوانهم أو عشيرتهم أولئك كتب في قلوبهم الإيمان وأيدهم بروح منه ويدخلهم جنات تجري من تحتها الأنهار خالدين فيها رضي الله عنهم ورضوا عنه أولئك حزب الله ألا إن حزب الله هم المفلحون) “You will not find a people who believe in Allāh and the Last Day having affection for those who oppose Allāh and His Messenger, even if they were their fathers or their sons or their brothers or their kindred. Those – He has decreed within their hearts faith and supported them with spirit[1648] from Him. And We will admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally. Allāh is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him – those are the party of Allāh. Unquestionably, the party of Allāh – they are the successful.” (Al-Mujadila: 22). And other like verses.

Dear Servants of Allah, the International Union of Muslim Scholars issued a fatwa regarding the duty of Islamic governments towards the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip

– Emphasizing that it is legal for the ruling governments and official armies to intervene urgently to save Gaza from genocide and comprehensive destruction,

– Leaving Gaza, Al-Aqsa, and Palestine to be annihilated and destroyed is a betrayal of Allah and His Messenger, and one of the major sins and the greatest sins before Allah, the Almighty.

It added in its statement that it is a legal duty to intervene and supply military equipment and expertise to all the levels of all the resistance factions in the West Bank, Gaza, and at the four bordering countries, starting with Egypt, then Jordan, Syria and Lebanon.

He stressed that the comprehensive Western military, financial, media and diplomatic support for Israel requires Arab and Islamic countries to reciprocate militarily, financially, media and diplomatic wise for Palestine. It is not reasonable for the official armies of the Muslim countries, which number reaches four million, and on which $170 billion are spent annually, to remain confined to their barracks and until her weapons get rust.

It is with great regret that the words of the Prophet (may God bless him and grant him peace) regarding the affliction of weakness are true in the current state of the Muslim countries and their armies. On the authority of Thawban, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “The Prophet (ﷺ) said: The nations will soon summon one another to attack you as people invite others when eating to share their dish. Someone asked: Will that be because of our small numbers at that time? He replied: No, you will be numerous at that time: but you will be scum and rubbish like that scum carried down by a torrent, and Allah will take away the fear about you from the breasts of your enemy and cast wahn (enervation) into your hearts. Someone asked: What is wahn (enervation). Messenger of Allah (ﷺ): He replied: Love of the world and dislike of death.” (Narrated by him) Ahmed in Al-Musnad)

Supplication: O Allah, never allow a banner to be raised for the Jews in Jerusalem, and never allow them to achieve any goal in Gaza. O Allah, help the people of Jerusalem, the people of Gaza, and the people of Palestine. O Allah, strengthen them, O Allah strengthen their hearts. O Allah, spread tranquility in their hearts. O Allah, send them warmth, peace, security and safety. O Allah, accept their martyrs and heal the sick. O Allah, have mercy on the bereaved mothers and widows. O Allah, have mercy on the elderly who bow in (prayers), the suckling infants, and the young who prostrate. O Allah, deal with the aggressing Zionists and those who supported and helped them. O Allah scatter their togetherness, scatter their power, and divide their unity.

O Allah, show us in them the effects and wonders of your power. O Allah, tear them apart in the most devastating manner, O Lord of the Worlds. O Allah, surround them in their numbers and destroy them as a swarm, and do not leave out anyone of them. O Allah, never allow a banner to be raised for the Jews in Jerusalem, and never allow them to achieve any goal in Gaza. O Allah, grant us happiness with the victory of our brothers over our enemy and their enemy. O Allah, we are in dire need of your mercy and help, eventhough we are unable to physically participate with them, then accept our prayers for their victory, O Allah, our Lord, we trust in You, and we hope for Your help, and we turn to Your door, so do not disappoint us. O Allah, grant us victory, O Allah grant us victory, O Allah grant us victory. O Allah, accept their martyrs, grant victory to their armies, heal their sick, heal their wounded, replace their fear with security, their hardship with ease, their distress with relief, and their patience with victory, O Mighty, O Powerful, O Possessor of enduring power, O Possessor of majesty and honor.

May the blessings and peace of Allah be upon our Prophet, our Master Muhammad, his family and companions. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.
